Manufacturing Technician
Nr Manningtree, Essex £29,845.00

Manufacturing Technicians required for permanent shift-based positions at long-established, market leading film consumables manufacturer based near Manningtree. Working as part of a committed, close-knit team the successful candidates will be welcomed into this pleasant, friendly environment and given the opportunity to train for several months on the complex coatings plant, eventually learning to run it independently. In return they will receive an excellent remuneration and benefits package and the prospect of stable employment with the chance for further development. Applicants must have previous experience of setting, operating and minding complex production, printing or chemical plant. A combination of hands-on experience, knowledge of production processes, mechanical engineering aptitude, H&S awareness and IT literacy is required along with a diligent, responsible attitude and the ability to self-manage. A background of working with inks, resins, dyes or solvents would be advantageous. The shifts will initially be Monday to Friday (3 shift rotating pattern) but will move to a 7-day rotating pattern in the future.
