Assembly Machine Operator required for immediate start at manufacturing company in Manningtree. The successful candidate will be operating rotary assembly machine, inputting materials, machine minding and carrying out quality control checks, full training given. Applications Engineer required for established engineering manufacturing company near Strowmarket. Responsible for researching, collecting, and reporting information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Assists customers by producing hydraulic calculations, submittal packages for end users and distributors. Aids in the design and development of equipment and systems and the redesign of existing systems to fulfill customers’ needs. Deals directly with customers, where required either by telephone, electronically, or face to face meetings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Works with customers to integrate products into their applications. Communicates returned material analysis from engineering to the customer. • Works with product management to understand product changes and upcoming product launches and to communicate information to the region. • Supports sales, marketing, and technical support by providing a high degree of product and customer application guidance. • Recommends products to customers, based on customer’s needs and produces quotes with pricing and delivery information. • Supports the region by resolving product issues/problems. • Assists in product launches and gathering information for the product development process. Supports engineering with field trials through installation and data collection. • Works with marketing services and the regional offices to create locally tailored product brochures, website content, and other promotional material as needed. Maintains library of marketing and technical material. • Creates and provides presentations on products, service training, and other topics as required. • Writes reports to management on the progress of projects and other activities. • Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Project / Production Planner

Project / Production Planner required for 9 – 12 month contract at Engineering manufacturing company near Stowmarket. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be the main internal point of contact for special project jobs. • Work with the internal teams, sales, finance, engineering and production to pull together information and plan the project. • Planning shop floor labour and materials and shortages • Creation and completion of shop floor works orders to generate pick lists for stock allocation and booking in of finished goods • Communicating with the customer on project progress and focal point for any issues • Plan and book deliveries to customer sites in the UK and Europe. Ideal candidate will have project management and planning experience within an engineering manufacturing environment, have good numeracy & literacy skills and be confident on all IT packages including Excel, keen problem solver and the ability to work independently. Based in a class 7 cleanroom facility, you will be running a range of complex machinery to deliver precision engineered components for customers. Candidates ideally will have previous manufacturing experience and an engineering background or qualifications; however, this is not essential as training will be given. Candidates must be able to work to documented procedures. Paying £10.00 - £11.66 per hour, (starting salary c£20,800p/a) dependant on experience working a double day shift pattern (6am-2.15pm & 2.00pm-10.15pm).
