Freight Forwarder
Ipswich outskirts £20-28000K per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Freight Forwarder to join a small, friendly team based in attractive rural premises on the outskirts of Ipswich. The company are now a leading European Freight Forwarder working with numerous European Specialist Hauliers and Agents. Based in the Export Customer Services team, this role will ideally suit someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in European Freight forwarding or someone who has worked for a European Trailer Operator. A good understanding of the requirements regarding customs procedures since Brexit would be essential for the role. Hours 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Salary £20-28k depending on experience.

Key Account Manager
Ipswich, Suffolk £30-32K + generous annual bonus

Reporting directly to the Board of Management (BoM), the Key Account Development Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing strategic and tactical business development plans designed to capitalise on market opportunities, particular with the Company’s major accounts. The primary objectives are to generate demand and strengthen Customer relationships. The Key Account Development Manager will be personable, commercially minded and have a sharp eye for opportunities. A broad range of marketing skills will be essential for this relationship building opportunity. This pivotal role has one foot planted firmly in the Marketing Department with an aim of assisting its development into a creative, integrated, multi-channel enterprise that builds brand awareness and reputation, develops the Company’s Customer’s sales and measures the return on marketing programme investments. The other foot sits within the Sales Department working with the two Sales Divisions in a Business Development role. The brief is to cement relationships with the Key Accounts and develop their sales into a broader base of products as well as increasing their revenues. This project driven role requires high levels of business awareness and collaboration across departments and Customers. Responsibilities • In collaboration with both the Sales and Marketing teams: - • Identify key/major accounts and develop/implement specific marketing strategies to • Deliver measurable increases in sales • Heighten company Brand awareness • Cement business relationships • Launch and build measurable increases in sales of new and emerging Products • Collaborate with the Marketing Managers to develop a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan • Implement strategic projects to drive sales and increase Brand awareness • Enhance the Company’s CRM processes and technologies. • Work alongside the sales team to identify target markets, ideal customers, and key messages. • Connect the Company to regional and national business development resources. • Perform marketing segmentation, targeting and positioning for each product line. • Identify areas for process improvement i.e., product/project management. • Analyse and report on current market trends • Take a stakeholder role alongside the Marketing Managers in planning and delivery of trade shows and exhibitions. • Willingly collaborate with other project managers and stakeholders to assist them deliver their objectives • Help develop and deliver marketing activity to support the acquisition of new Prospects/Customers. • Analyse all marketing activity to ensure success and value for money, suggest and implement changes where data supports. The role requires high levels of business awareness and collaboration across departments and with customers. Candidates must have previous experience within a similar role. Procurement Assistant
Ipswich,Suffolk £19-20k

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, highly profitable import company with the opportunity to progress to Assistant Buyer. The successful candidate will be working with a small team of highly experienced staff and will report to the Buying Director. East Ipswich. Key Responsibilities will include: • Assisting Buying Director and Assistant Buyers to manage orders and shipments • Inputting data into Excel and purchasing system • Maintaining critical path • Liaising with suppliers • Highlighting concerns to the wider team • Offering day to day support to the buying team • Responsible for all general administration • Travel in the UK and internationally (especially China where the head office is based) Applicants should be driven and motivated and will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent with good numeracy skills and Excel proficiency. Good accuracy with a high attention to detail is essential along with strong organisation and communication skills. Full driving licence required. The role would could suit someone who has some minimal supply chain or purchasing experience who is looking to further their career in the field of procurement. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm. Administrator required for Ipswich Engineering company (ongoing temporary position based East Ipswich). The successful candidate will be checking supplier purchase orders and requesting delivery dates and negotiating time frames/options to release equipment orders as quickly as possible. The role is fast paced dealing with high volume of calls and would ideally suit someone who has worked in a similar role before and used to dealing with customer queries and chasing orders for progress updates. Executive Assistant

An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join a well-established, dynamic company based in Ipswich. This industry leading organization manufactures and distributes products to the UK, Europe and the USA and has grown year on year since inception. The successful candidate will provide support and undertake general executive duties for the board of Directors and their team. This varied role will include attending management meetings, taking notes and producing minutes (shorthand desirable but not essential), dealing with expense claims, managing travel and accommodation bookings, coordinating internal holiday requests, liaising with the marketing team and generally supporting the business. Previous experience in providing similar executive support (ideally to multiple managers) is essential. Management Accountant

Management Accountant required for rapidly expanding, market leading company based in Ipswich. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will produce monthly management reports including profit and loss and balance sheet, reporting and commenting on variances versus actual, previous year and budget. He or she will provide analytical information to produce sales budgets and forecasts and will play an important part in contributing to the organisation’s continued growth. Duties will include: • Supporting the Financial Controller in the compliance controls implementation • Developing and reviewing strategic and tactical budget / revised budget and final forecasts • Developing and reviewing strategic, tactical and operational sales forecasts on a monthly basis • Managing forecasting processes to deliver most accurate results • Tracking, initiating and leading continuous improvement in KPI’s and provide feedback to the Financial Controller, the Commercial Director and the Managing Director • Cooperating with related departments in budget process • Presenting information to management • Reporting for European Management Meeting • Monitoring and reporting to Regional HQ the monthly sales results Applicants should have 3 years of experience in similar position preferably in a multinational company in the manufacturing/engineering sector, be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in finance, business or other relevant field and be AAT qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA advantageous) SAP experience preferred with MFG/Pro knowledge beneficial.
